Maggie + Andrew's Micro Wedding at W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory

Maggie + Andrew’s wedding day was quiet, joyful, and full of intention. With just a handful of loved ones gathered inside the glass walls of Tacoma’s W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory, they promised forever in a space that felt both peaceful and full of life.

Andrew’s mother officiated the ceremony—a deeply personal touch that made the moment feel even more meaningful. Between the breathtaking greenery, the gentle light, and the way Maggie + Andrew looked at each other, the whole afternoon felt like a beautiful exhale. Simple, sacred, and full of love.

Before the ceremony began, the energy was laid-back and full of adoration. We arrived to find close family members chatting, laughing, and helping set up the ceremony space together—it felt more like a gathering of old friends than a formal event, in the best possible way. Andrew looked effortlessly dapper in their light grey suit, and their grandmother helped them pin on the boutonnière with care. Maggie absolutely stunned in a green velvet dress, complete with a vintage headpiece and purse that made the whole look feel timeless.

Once everything was in place, Maggie’s dad walked her down the aisle to where Andrew and their mom were waiting. With Andrew’s mother officiating, they exchanged heartfelt vows, slipped on rings, and made it all official—surrounded by warmth and the soft light filtering through the greenhouse. It was tender, personal, and so full of joy.

After the ceremony, we took a little time to soak it all in and capture some family portraits with everyone. The energy was still buzzing—hugs were shared, happy tears were wiped away, and you could just feel how loved Maggie + Andrew are. These kinds of portraits always feel extra special at a micro wedding, where every single person there holds such a big piece of the couple’s story.

Once family photos wrapped up, we snuck away with Maggie + Andrew for some quiet portraits inside the conservatory. Surrounded by towering palms, vibrant blooms, and the softest filtered light, it felt like we’d stepped into a secret garden. They moved through the space together with so much ease—laughing, holding hands, taking little pauses to just be in the moment. The lush greenery was the perfect backdrop for a love that’s grounded, vibrant, and completely their own.

Before calling it a day, we stepped outside to explore a bit of Wright Park for some final portraits—just barely dodging the rain. Maggie + Andrew were all smiles, soaking in those just-married vibes with every step. And the perfect finishing touch? Bear, their sweet pup, joined in for a few photos and totally stole the show. Honestly, it doesn’t get better than that!

Maggie + Andrew’s day was everything a wedding should be: intentional, heartfelt, and entirely their own. We feel so lucky to have been a small part of it and to witness such a deeply personal celebration of love. Whether it’s a grand venue or a quiet greenhouse, what matters most are the people and the moments that make it yours.

"We are SO GLAD we had Alexis and Katrina as our photographers—absolutely phenomenal!"
