Golden hour has a way of making everything feel softer, warmer, and more magical, and that’s exactly how this summer evening at Larrabee State Park unfolded. Tiffany (she/her) + John (he/him) brought their sweet one-year-old daughter Stevie and their silly pup Bear along for a family session that was relaxed, full of love, and beautifully connected. With the sun dipping low through the trees and the salty air rolling in from the shoreline, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening together.

From the moment we met them on the trails, it was clear how much joy this little family shares. Stevie is just under a year old, and she completely lit up the session with her curiosity and big smiles. She was up for everything—being cuddled, played with, and passed between her parents with so much love and laughter. Tiffany + John were so natural with her, encouraging her giggles and soaking in every moment of this stage of her life. Bear, their goofy Lab mix, added his own energy to the session—sometimes happily wandering off to investigate new scents, sometimes trotting back to check in on his people.

One of the things we loved most about this shoot was how effortless it felt. Their outfits coordinated perfectly without being too matchy, creating a timeless look that let their love and connection shine. The high tide meant the beach was tucked away, so instead we leaned into the beauty of Larrabee’s forested trails and the golden light filtering through the trees. The textures of moss, sun-dappled branches, and that dreamy PNW glow created a gorgeous backdrop for their family’s story.
