When we think back on our recent family photography session with the Thompson family, one word comes to mind: magical. From the laughter to the heartfelt moments, every minute spent with this beautiful family was a treasure.
The Thompsons arrived at Flower World in Snohomish on a crisp December day, all donning matching plaid outfits and cozy beanies, radiating warmth and togetherness despite the chilly weather. Sarah + Brandon led the way, with their eldest son, Landon, and toddler Dawson in tow, along with Matt, Kyle, Stacey, and Natalie rounding out the group.
As photographers, we often have the privilege of witnessing intimate family moments, but nothing quite prepared us for the sheer joy of capturing Landon holding his little brother, Dawson, for the very first time. The love and pride shining in Landon’s eyes were palpable, and it was a moment we’ll never forget.
What struck us most about this session was witnessing Landon’s transformation. At first, he seemed a bit hesitant, unsure of the cameras and the unfamiliar setting. But as the session progressed, something beautiful happened. With each click of the shutter, Landon began to open up, his genuine smiles lighting up the frame. By the end of the session, he was beaming with confidence—a testament to the power of family and the magic of photography.
But it wasn’t just Landon who stole the show. The entire Thompson family brought their A-game, embracing the spirit of fun and adventure. We laughed, we joked, and we created memories that will last a lifetime. Every moment was filled with love, warmth, and laughter.
Flower World provided the perfect backdrop for our session, despite the winter chill. The lush greenery served as a stunning contrast to the family’s cozy plaid outfits, creating a picturesque setting for each moment.
Our goal is always to capture the essence of a family—the love, the laughter, and the unique bond that makes each family special. And with the Thompsons, that task was made easy. Their love for one another shone through in every frame, reminding us once again why we do what we do.
Here’s to the Thompson family—thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey!
