There’s something about a golden Pacific Northwest evening that makes everything feel a little more magical, and Patty (she/her) + Albert's (he/him) engagement session at Peace Arch Park in Blaine, WA was no exception. The warm summer light drifted through the trees and gardens as we explored the park’s sweeping views and peaceful corners. From the very first moment, their connection felt rooted and full of love.
Patty + Albert’s story is nothing short of extraordinary. Patty was Albert’s first girlfriend. Life led them down separate paths, each raising families and navigating the years apart. But three decades later, they found their way back to each other. They moved from Texas to Washington together, ready to write their next chapter hand in hand. Their love radiates a quiet strength, the kind built on deep history and rediscovered joy.
Their session was filled with those tender in-between moments: the way Albert gently reached for Patty’s hand, how they laughed softly while walking along the water, the quiet embraces shared beneath the famous arch. We wandered through the colorful gardens, paused for a moment under the archway, and made our way down toward the shoreline as the light melted into the horizon. Each frame felt timeless, just like the love they share.
It’s always an honor to witness connection this genuine, especially a love story with so many layers and years behind it. Patty + Albert reminded us that it’s never too late for love to bloom again. We’re so grateful they invited us into their journey and can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings for them.
