We had so much fun hosting our mini sessions at the beautiful Laue's Tree Farm in Sedro-Woolley, WA, and what a day it was! The rain held off just long enough for us to create some unforgettable memories with seven amazing families and couples. With the breathtaking mountain views, low-lying fog, and rows of lush Christmas trees, the natural beauty of the farm provided the perfect backdrop for every moment.

From the second we arrived, the magic of Laue’s Tree Farm surrounded us. The towering evergreens and cozy charm of the farm meant we didn’t need a single prop—Mother Nature did all the work! Every session felt like a holiday dream come to life. The famous “swan tree” (if you know, you know!) had us laughing all day, and the soft sunlight playing hide-and-seek through the trees added a beautiful glow to the day.

Each family brought something special to their session, and getting to know them made our hearts so full. Sara, Scott, and Alina arrived perfectly coordinated with their adorable Pomeranian, Chewie, whose sweet personality added so much joy to their photos. Ainslee, Aidan, and Blue showed up in matching shades of—you guessed it—blue! Their sweet bond and Blue’s playful energy made their session so memorable.

Throughout the day, we had the privilege of working with such unique families—twins, excited kiddos, and even more pups that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. One little one wasn’t so sure about getting photos at first, but by the end of the session, we got a couple of genuine smiles that made it all worthwhile. Watching Wren giggle as she blew bubbles was such a pure and joyful moment, and hearing siblings laugh and share little secrets with each other reminded us of what family is all about.

What made the day even more special was the chance to connect with every family, hear about their holiday plans, and simply enjoy the fresh air. There’s something about wandering through a tree farm that makes everything feel calm and peaceful—even with all the excitement! These sessions weren’t just about the photos themselves; they were about creating memories and sharing moments of joy.

We always aim to capture the spirit, energy and love that each family brings, and every family we worked with at Laue’s Tree Farm made that so easy. From playful pups to heartfelt sibling moments, we walked away from the day feeling grateful, inspired, and already excited to return next year.
