We recently had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful McGaha family at the stunning Rosario Beach in Anacortes, WA.

Despite the unpredictable weather, we were fortunate enough to avoid the rain and were greeted with breathtaking oceanside views that served as the perfect backdrop for our photoshoot. Rosario Beach quickly became one of our favorite locations, with its secluded charm, abundant scenery, and ample space for play.

What made this session particularly special was the heartfelt intention behind it. Mom Julia wanted to capture precious memories with her entire family, which included grown-up kids and teenagers. It was clear that these moments meant the world to her, and we were honored to be a part of preserving these memories for generations to come.

We always strive to capture authentic moments beyond the posed shots, and the McGaha family delivered in abundance. There was laughter, love, and genuine interaction between family members that made our job an absolute joy!

One unforgettable moment that stands out from the session was the unexpected appearance of Eva, the adorable long-haired black cat. Seeing Eva perched on Walter’s shoulder added an extra dose of charm to the session. It’s moments like these that remind us why we love capturing the essence of family—all members included!

At the heart of it all, we adore working with families of all shapes and sizes, including beloved pets like dogs, cats, lizards, and everything in between. Each family member brings their own unique energy and personality to the session, making for a truly memorable experience.
