Golden hour at Skagit Bay Estuary was pure magic—late‑day light spilling into open meadows, turning tall grasses into rivers of gold. We spent the evening with Kieran + Megan, letting their laughter and easy affection guide the shoot as they wandered trails, balanced on fallen logs, and shared sweet smiles that felt like home.
Our friendship with Kieran + Megan started at Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Wedding Expo (P.S. we will be there again in February 2026)—and trust us, queer friendships move fast when everyone’s energy aligns! From that first meeting to this session, they’ve become part of our chosen family. This shoot felt more like celebrating with dear friends than working, and every frame captured that genuine connection.
We started on the trail, surrounded by meadow light and soft breezes, pausing at logs for playful balancing acts—someone always catching the other just in time. Megan’s red velvet dress glowed in the sun’s last light—simple, bold, and totally her. It was the outfit moment of the evening.
They strolled hand in hand along throughout the trails, soaking in beautiful light and each other’s company; lots of calm, meaningful connection. These moments weren’t just romantic—they were about being seen, celebrated, and free to love out loud, exactly as they are.
Helping document this chapter of their journey is an honor. We can’t wait to cheer them on at their big wedding bash later this year! Kieran + Megan, thank you for trusting us, laughing with us, and letting us hold these memories forever.

Celebrate Love Out Loud
