This session was particularly special for us because it involved two of our closest friends, Laura and Juan, who were visiting from Vancouver, BC. We knew right away that we wanted to capture some beautiful memories with them, so we headed out to Little Mountain Park in Mount Vernon, WA, for a fun and relaxed photo shoot.


Katrina first met Juan and Laura nearly ten years ago when we were all studying digital photography at VanArts. Since then, they’ve become an inseparable part of our lives. Laura is an incredibly talented dance and portrait photographer based in Vancouver (check out her amazing work here), and Juan shares the same passion for photography.


Their love story blossomed during our time at VanArts, and it was an honor for us to stand by their side as they got married. Fast forward to today, they’ve expanded their family by adopting an adorable pup named Luna. Capturing the connection between these two and their sweet little Luna was a joy, and the serene trails of Little Mountain Park provided the perfect backdrop.
