Caylie + Sam | Playful Weekend Session at the Farmers Market, Mount Vernon, WA

A soft overcast sky set the tone for Caylie (she/her) + Sam’s (he/him) sweet morning session in downtown Mount Vernon. It was a classic Pacific Northwest Saturday; cool, cozy, and full of charm. These two brought all the warmth we needed, showing up with coffee in hand and a carefree spirit that made wandering the farmers market and side streets feel like a little love story unfolding in real-time.

From the moment we met them, it was clear: Caylie + Sam are the kind of couple who make everything look effortless. Whether it was cuddling in a tucked-away alcove, crossing the street hand-in-hand, or playfully picking out fruit at the market, they were down for whatever. Their easygoing energy made the whole session feel spontaneous and joy-filled. Sam bought Caylie a bouquet of fresh flowers, a simple gesture that became such a sweet part of the shoot. We worked those blooms into some of our favorite shots, adding pops of color and a personal touch that reflected how thoughtful and connected they are.

Downtown Mount Vernon gave us a beautiful mix of textures, brick and storefronts; and the farmers market added the buzz of local life and seasonal color. This wasn’t an engagement session or an anniversary shoot. It was just them, showing up for their relationship, having fun together, and saying yes to capturing a little slice of their everyday love. That intention alone made it incredibly special for us.

We’re so grateful to have spent the morning with Caylie + Sam. Their laughter, ease, and playfulness reminded us why these “just because” sessions can be some of the most meaningful.
