There’s something truly magical about an evening spent in the trees, and Addie + Kyla’s couples session at Little Mountain Park in Mount Vernon, WA was no exception. With soft golden light peeking through the clouds and the towering trees wrapping us in quiet, this post-wedding session felt like something out of a dream.

Addie + Kyla had just gotten married the week before in a small, intimate ceremony and chose to mark the moment with a portrait session that reflected their love and their style. From the second we met them at the top of the mountain, we were struck by their ease with each other—the way they moved together, always hand in hand, always sharing quiet smiles. Their connection is pure magic: soft, strong, and unmistakably full of love.

These two brought their whole selves to the session, and we were obsessed. Addie’s vibrant purple hair and Kyla’s dreamy green locks (our fave colors!) were the perfect complement to their matching black dresses—a stunning look that felt both bold and deeply personal. We wandered from the top down into a grove of towering trees about halfway down the mountain, where the light danced gently through the branches and wrapped these two in gold.
